Description
Tamsulosin HCl and Dutasteride Tablet– Tamstone tablet is a combination of the drugs Tamsulosin and Dutasteride that is used to treat the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Tamsulosin is a type of alpha-blocker. It works by relaxing the muscles around the bladder exit and the prostate gland, allowing urine to pass more easily. Dutasteride is a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor that aids in prostate gland shrinkage by lowering the level of the hormone that promotes prostate gland growth. They can quickly relieve your symptoms and make it easier for you to urinate. However, it could take up to 6 months to see the full effect. For best results, take this medication exactly as directed.
Uses of Tamsulosin HCl and Dutasteride Tablet
Tamsulosin (alpha-blockers) and dutasteride (5-alpha reductase inhibitor) are used to treat enlarged prostate glands. As the gland enlarges, it can cause urinary issues such as difficulty passing urine and a strong urge to urinate. Dutasteride reduces the production of dihydrotestosterone hormone, resulting in a reduction in prostate size and, as a result, relief of symptoms. This lowers the likelihood of acute urinary retention and the need for surgery. Tamsulosin eases the passage of urine by relaxing the gland’s muscles. Both of them work together to alleviate the symptoms of Benign Hyperplasia Prostate (BPH).
